BHCFL Science & Geography Fair

BHCFL Science & Geography Fair

A fun, hands-on learning experience for our homeschooling community!

A group of children gathered around a clear container with a colorful exhibit inside, engaging with a science demonstration at a school event or science fair.
Children gathered around a tabletop model of a golf course at an indoor event, with a scoreboard and basketball hoop visible in the background.

Families participating in the Geography Fair will select a country to research and create a display—this can be a tri-fold board, tabletop setup, or any creative presentation format. Your family may share:

  • Interesting facts

  • Costumes or cultural attire

  • Photos, drawings, maps, or artifacts

  • Music or short demonstrations

  • A simple craft or interactive activity

  • Games or quizzes

  • Food samples (always a hit!)

  • Coloring sheets or take-home information

Science Projects are presented individually (not as family displays). Students showcase experiments, models, or research just as they would in a traditional Science Fair—displayed at their own table.

As students explore the room, they’ll receive a passport and a scavenger hunt sheet. Each time they visit a country table or science project, they’ll receive a stamp, sticker, or mark in their passport.
